During the celebration of Krishna Pushkarams 2016 in one of the major cities of India, the Police Department launched a major project to enhance security for the expected influx of up to 100,000 pilgrims with the help of iVIS.

With the help of iVIS- they called this project “Implementation of Centralized Video Surveillance System for Krishna Pushkarams 2016”. They deployed 671 cameras across 168 key locations. These cameras were accessed by the Main Control Room and Sub Control Rooms.

The security system featured  advanced analytics, including face recognition and crowd management tools. It perfectly improves real-time threat detection and response.

Despite many limitations like infrastructure limitations and public privacy concerns- iVIS brings security, streamlined operations, and sets a new standard for urban surveillance.
